ABOUT ME AND MY PHOTOGRAPHY

Thanks for taking the time to visit my website, I hope you enjoy looking at my images but I thought you might like to know a bit more about what makes me tick and who’s is behind Chris Jones Photography Wales.

I live in Bridgend South Wales and I am married with two children I have been in the Fire Service for the last 20 years and before that, I was in the Army.

As well as the Fire Service I also part own Global Drone Surveys a cutting-edge asset inspection, aerial filming and photography company using multi-rotor UAVs (drones). I am a commercial drone pilot and camera operator skilled in post-production video and stills using FCPX, Davinchi, Photoshop and Lightroom.

My passion has always been anything outdoors and active and this includes my photography, which is why Landscapes and Wildlife photography in great Welsh outdoors form a large part of my photography.

I find wildlife photography a complete challenge but extremely rewarding behind every wildlife image you see is countless hours of waiting for the perfect light at the perfect time.

As a responsible photographer of wildlife, I capture my images as seen on the ground. I always put the welfare of the subjects life and care of the environment above any photograph I take.
